Arches National Park, proclaimed a U.S. National Monument by President Herbert Hoover in 1929 and established as a national park 50 years later, is home to spectacular stone towers and arches, such as Delicate Arch, the Eye of the Whale and Landscape Arch, among many others.
Its more than 300 square kilometres are also home to numerous fossilised dinosaur footprints, in perfect condition despite the millions of years since their extinction.
