Accompanied by a professional guide you will learn, in small groups of approximately eight people, the history of the area's legendary sites, including:

  • St. Louis Cathedral: take a picture in front of this historic 18th century church, one of the most iconic postcard images of New Orleans.
  • Jackson Square: also known as Arms Square, this is the cultural and social epicentre of the French Quarter, with the Cathedral at the front.
  • New Orleans Town Hall: served as the city's town hall during the Spanish viceroyalty, originally built in 1795 and rebuilt after the Great Fire of 1788.
  • French Market: in this commercial and cultural centre of the French Quarter you will find a wide variety of food, restaurants, cafes and an incredible atmosphere with live music.

You'll also pass the famous Pontalba Buildings, whose pioneering architecture marked a turning point in the style of New Orleans' street infrastructure. This building was declared a United States National Historic Landmark.

I leave with a nice memory of this carriage ride through New Orleans. I learned a lot throughout the whole tour and managed to take very beautiful pictures around the French Quarter. An easy tour to recommend for anyone interested in getting to know this city in more depth.

The tour was great, full of very funny moments and with a high level of history about the city. A pity about the price, I found it very expensive for its short duration, but I assure you it is worth paying for the experience.
