Step by Step
Discover the spooky side of New Orleans with this crime tour. On a walking tour with an expert guide that lasts about an hour and a half and in groups of about eight people, you'll learn all the stories surrounding this American city, which is also known for its ghostly history.
The tour will take in the French Quarter of New Orleans, the oldest part of the city, through the alleys, bars and sites of the worst crimes in the city's history.
The French Quarter, founded by the Spanish, is one of New Orleans' main landmarks with its colonial architecture and old houses that even their facades are frightening.
In addition to the ghostly tales, centred on the paranormal events that take place in the Cabildo and other places in the city, you will learn about the most tragic events that have left their mark on the United States.
One of them is that of "Madame Blanque" or "Madame LaLaurie". She was a member of New Orleans high society and a serial killer who tortured and murdered the slaves in her house. The mansion named LaLaurie is a landmark in the French Quarter, partly for its history and architectural significance. However, her house was burned down by the mob and rebuilt.
