Step by Step

Emblematic monuments, history in every corner and free time to explore. Are you up for it? Here's astep-by-step look at what's in store for you on this 15-hourtour of Washington:

  1. Sunrise on the road. The adventure starts early in Manhattan. We'll meet at the pick-up point and board a comfortable bus that will take us to the political heart of the United States. Along the way we will cross three states: New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, leaving the hustle and bustle of New York behind as we enter a completely different landscape.

  2. Stop to recharge our batteries. After getting up early, we will make a strategic stop in Delaware to have breakfast and stretch our legs. A good coffee and a moment's rest will prepare you for all that awaits us in Washington D.C.

  3. The solemn Arlington Cemetery. Our first stop will be Arlington National Cemetery, a place that blends history and respect. We will walk to the Kennedy Brothers' Tomb and the eternal flame, a symbol loaded with meaning. Before continuing on, we'll make a brief stop at the Marine Corps Memorial, where you'll be able to take some impressive photographs.

  4. From Arlington to Constitution Avenue. We will cross the Potomac River to enter the city of Washington. We will pass some iconic buildings such as the Pentagon, the State Department and the Albert Einstein Memorial. Every corner here has its own story, and our guide will make sure you don't miss a single detail.

  5. Walk through Memorial Park. Memorial Park is much more than just a collection of monuments. From the Lincoln Memorial and the famous Reflecting Pool (yes, the one in Forrest Gump), to the Vietnam and Korean War memorials, each stop is a window into this country's past.

  6. The White House and the Capitol. It's time to get up close and personal with America's two most recognisable symbols. You'll enjoy unbeatable views of the White House, with time to capture its majestic façade. Later, we'll arrive at the Capitol, the nerve centre of the US government, where we'll make another stop for photos.

  7. Free time on the National Mall. Here you can decide how you want to spend your time. You can have lunch, explore the National Air and Space Museum or any of the other museums that line the National Mall. With 90 minutes at your disposal, the choice is yours.

  8. Return to New York with an unforgettable view. We will make our way back as the day is winding down. Weather permitting, we will make a special stop to enjoy the night views of the illuminated Manhattan skyline. A perfect end to a memorable day.

  9. Arrival in Manhattan. We will return to the starting point in the evening, with the memories of a day full of unique moments and incredible photos. An experience that will stay with you long after you return.

We had time to visit and a short time to rest, it was very important because the tour lasts quite a long time, but it is worth it.
