Washington DC Segway Tour

Hop on a Segway and enjoy one of the most comprehensive tours of Washington DC. For about 2 hours, you'll ride in a small group of no more than 15 people and see several of the major landmarks of the US capital.

From an expert guide, you'll learn about the history of Washington D.C., named after the first president of the United States, George Washington .

After meeting at an agreed meeting point, you'll receive a pre-ride training session on how to use the Segway and how to ride it safely .

Some of the most emblematic places you will be able to visit during the tour are:

• The White House: official residence of the President of the United States. Inaugurated in 1800, it has been home to all of the country's presidents, with the exception of Washington himself. It was not until 1902 that it officially adopted the name "White House", having been called the Presidential Palace or Executive Mansion in the past.

• Lafayette Square: Park dedicated to the foreign heroes of the American Revolution. The park was named after Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, who fought during the American Revolutionary War as a general of French troops.

• Constitution Park: monument dedicated to the 56 signers of the 1776 Declaration of Independence .

• Vietnam Women's Memorial: dedicated to the 30,000 women who served in that war.

• Lincoln Memorial: statue depicting the 16th US president, famous for leading the country during the Civil War and for being the country's first president to be assassinated while in office.

• Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History: the second most visited museum operated by the Smithsonian Institution. It houses more than 125 million specimens of flora, fauna, minerals, meteorites, etc.

• US Capitol: official seat of the legislative branch, where the houses of Congress and the Senate are located. You will also stop in front of the headquarters of the FBI, the country's main criminal investigation agency and the largest federal police force in the world.

At the end of the tour, you will return to the original starting point, as it is a round-trip tour.
