This day trip takes you to Blagaj, Počitelj and Kravice Waterfalls from Mostar. The tour lasts approximately 8 hours and includes a local guide and transfers to and from your accommodation in Mostar. You will get to see the Fortica footbridge, the old town of Blagaj, the medieval town of Počitelj and the Kravice Waterfalls.
The adventure will start in Mostar. You will drive from your accommodation in a comfortable vehicle to the first stop, the Fortica footbridge. This is a viewpoint from where you can see the whole of Mostar from above in a breathtaking panoramic view. A good place to take pictures and start the tour.
After seeing Mostar from above you will head south to Blagaj, a historic town and a protected heritage site of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The village is also known for its monastery carved into a large rock wall and its castle. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the monastery and enjoy the views of the Buna River.
After Blagaj, you will go to Počitelj, a fortified medieval town with impressive Ottoman architecture. You can stroll through its streets and walk up to its fortress and mosque. Your guide will tell you about the history of this listed town. He will also accompany you to the highlights of the city.
The last stop on this tour will be the Kravice Waterfalls, a set of waterfalls surrounded by lush vegetation. Here you can relax and swim, or simply enjoy the cascading water. Before heading back to your accommodation in Mostar, you will visit the mouth of the Buna River, a perfect place to take pictures.
