Enjoy a full day excursion to Venice from Milan. A comfortable bus will transfer you to the city of gondolas, located approximately two and a half hours from Milan.

Upon arrival, you will begin a 2-hour walking tour of Venice's most renowned attractions, while a local guide tells you all the stories behind the romantic city and its points of interest.

Some of the emblematic monuments and areas you will see include:

  • St. Mark's Basilica: one of the most important monuments in Venice, composed of 5 huge domes and houses a western and eastern style.
  • St. Mark's Square: considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Napoleon gave it the name of "The most beautiful hall in Europe".
  • Grand Canal: the most important thing in Venice is its 4 kilometres long Grand Canal that divides the city in two.
  • Rialto Bridge: of the four bridges that cross the canal, this is the oldest and probably one of the most recognisable.
  • Doge's Palace: located in St. Mark's Square, it is one of the most iconic monuments in Venice. It was once the residence of the Doges and a prison area.
  • Riva degli Schiavoni: one of the most famous promenades of the city, where important monuments such as the Doge's Palace and the Ca' di Dio bridge are located.
  • Bridge of Sighs: it was built in 1614 to connect the Ducal Palace with the building of the new slaves. Here the prisoners who were condemned walked to their prison leaving their sighs.
