Starting by highlighting some of the basilicas you will see during the tour, there is the Basilica of Mary Major. This is one of the 4 papal basilicas in Rome and the most important church dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
On the other hand, you will also enter the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, better known as the cathedral of the diocese of Rome, which is dedicated to Christ the Saviour and the two saints named after John.
You will also learn about the early years and buildings of the Christian religion. To do so, you will go to the Ancient Appian Way where you will visit the first Christian catacombs. Specifically, you will go down to the catacombs of Saint Callixtus , which date back to around the 1st century A.D.
