Step by Step
Learn about the culture and gastronomy of Oaxaca with this unique mezcal and mole tasting experience. Led by a certified sommelier, this activity will lead you to discover the authentic flavours of Mexico for an hour and a half.
The experience begins with an introduction to the world of mezcal, a traditional Mexican alcoholic beverage distilled from agave. You will learn about its elaboration process, from the selection of the agave plants to the final distillation. The sommelier will guide you through a tasting of 7 different varieties of mezcal, explaining the unique characteristics and flavours of each one.
During the mezcal tasting, you will have the opportunity to taste delicious dishes of mole, one of the most emblematic dishes of Oaxaca. Mole is a thick, rich sauce made from chillies, spices and other ingredients. You will learn about the different types of mole and its importance in Oaxacan cuisine. In addition, these are vegetarian and vegan dishes to suit all dietary requirements.
This experience will allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and gastronomy of Oaxaca, discovering the authentic flavours of the region. In addition, the sommelier will be available to answer your questions and provide you with additional information about mezcal and mole.
