This private tour is particularly suitable for lovers of oriental cuisine. Taiwanese cuisine is very varied and with this tour, which lasts approximately 3 hours, you will enjoy a 10-course tasting (with drinks) for small groups.
You will meet an expert guide in a central location, who will accompany you through the city. The stops are accompanied by a typical recipe, which you could try at the following stops:
- Dongmen Market: a traditional market in the eastern part of the city.
- Tamsui Zhongzheng Market: where you can taste sushi and watch the preparation of fish balls up close.
- Taipei 101: the tallest and most iconic skyscraper in the country. Within walking distance is the Linjiang Street Night Market. This may be the perfect occasion to try the popular sweet potatoes, which arrived on the island in the 16th century from the Philippines.
