What is the Dallas CityPASS® Tourist Card?
The Dallas CityPASS® Tourist Card is a great way to get discounted access to some of Dallas' top attractions. Its main benefit is saving money, since you will pay half the normal price, saving 51% of the original value.
Using this tourist pass you will be able to visit some of the main attractions in Dallas at a promotional price. In addition, with this tourist card you will not have to wait in long lines at the ticket booths, since you can also reserve your visit time on the websites of each attraction, except those that can only be accessed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Another benefit of the tourist pass is the convenience of its digital format, since you will automatically receive an email to your cell phone with a code that will help you enter the attractions quickly and easily. With the card you will not have to worry about carrying documents or having to waste time buying the entrance in each place.
This card also has a long time of use so you can use it without inconveniences during your stay. From the first use, it is valid for 9 consecutive days, which is enough time for you to visit the 4 attractions included. And if you do not use it, it expires one year from the moment you buy it.
How much does the Dallas CityPASS® cost?
The price of the Dallas CityPASS® Tourist Card is around 49 EUR, and includes a package of the best attractions in Dallas. You should note that this is a promotional value, as it allows you to save more than half the money you would spend if you bought each ticket separately. That is, it offers a total savings of 51%.
If you buy the tickets separately they will cost you twice as much, since the normal price to the same attractions without the tourist pass costs more than 100 EUR. In addition, the Dallas CityPASS® tourist card offers a greater discount for children ages 3 to 12, at a value of approximately 33 EUR.
With the tourist pass you can access the attractions without waiting in long lines, since at some tourist attractions admission is exclusive for those who have the tourist card, and at others you can reserve a time to enter without delay.
The CityPASS® card also offers discounts to visit other attractions for an additional fee, and offers discounts to use in the stores of each of the attractions included, or in activities that take place there.

When to buy the Dallas CityPASS® sightseeing pass
Before you buy the Dallas CityPASS®, you should know that the Dallas CityPASS® is convenient even if you are visiting Dallas for 1 day, because you will be saving a lot of money on admission fees, unless you are not interested in seeing the attractions that are included in the Dallas CityPASS®.
It is also convenient to buy the tourist card if your stay is going to be longer, since it is valid for 9 days from the first time you use the card, and you will have enough time to visit the 4 attractions included.
On the other hand, in the case of purchasing a tourist card for a group, it is not necessary that all people visit the same attractions, but each one can visit the one that is of interest to them.
On the other hand, it is very convenient if you are traveling with your family as it includes tickets to science museums and a viewpoint that are among the best things to do in Dallas with children.
When not to buy the tourist pass in Dallas
In order to take advantage of your CityPASS® card, you must have enough time in the city to visit all 4 attractions. To visit each attraction you will need at least 1 hour for each site, and the distances between them will take up some time.
If you will only be visiting the city for 1 or 2 hours, it is not advisable to buy the pass, as you will not have enough time to visit the tourist attractions. It is also not advisable to buy the pass if you do not like the attractions included, so I recommend that before you buy your tourist card, research about the attractions that you can access at a discount.
On the other hand, if you are traveling with children under 3 years old, keep in mind that, in general, they do not pay admission to tourist attractions, and many do not even pay for children under 4 years old, so it is not advisable to buy a Dallas CityPASS® card for them.
Other Dallas City Sightseeing Passes
There is a tourist pass that gives you discounts for events, museums, parks, theaters, amusement parks, arcades, gyms, restaurants, among others, in Dallas and Fort Worth. It is the GetOutPass tourist card.
Buying the Dallas CityPASS® allows you toaccess 60 attractions in a 365-day period, including many of the fun things to do in Dallas and Forth Worth.
You do not need to inform when you will visit each attraction at the time you buy the tourist card, but you can do it later. Its price is approximately 70 EUR.
The disadvantage of this card is that it does not include discounts on the main attractions of these cities. On the other hand, it is not advisable to buy it if you will be in the city for a short time.
Tips to get the most out of your tourist pass in Dallas
The main thing is to plan your visits taking into account the opening days and hours of each attraction. Some attractions are not open to the public some days of the week, or have extended hours on weekends, and can be visited later in the day.
In addition, you may want to schedule your visits to attractions with the best time of day in mind. For example, the GeO-Deck observation deck is one of the best things to do in Dallas at night, but there may be more visitors at that time or on weekends.
To get the most out of your Dallas CityPASS® card and enjoy its offers and discounts at other attractions, you should check to see which attractions are available at that time.
Keep in mind that it is best to reserve the times you will be visiting attractions as early as possible, especially during times of high tourist demand. The advantage of reserving a time slot is that you will not have to wait to get in or wait in long lines at the ticket office. The only drawback is that if you do not cancel your reservation in advance, you will not be able to reschedule your visit for another day and you will lose the option to access that attraction at a discount.
