Step by Step

Get to know Argentina's unique wildlife with this 4-hour boat trip that takes you around the different islands of Ushuaia's Beagle Channel . Along the majestic channel and once on board the boat, you will be treated to fascinating local wildlife and hot drinks. Together with the ship's crew and in small groups of 25 people, you will see everything from sea lions in colonies to the unique flora and birdlife of Bridges Island during a walking tour.

Ushuaia, known as "the city at the end of the world" is one of the most fascinating tourist destinations for the wide variety of nature experiences it offers. Don't miss out on this experience and head straight to Ushuaia's tourist harbour. From here you will board a yacht and embark on a journey through the wildlife of the area.

From the harbour you'll head to Isla Alicia, also called Isla de los Lobos, and see a colony of sea lions that inhabit this part of Tierra del Fuego. You will then travel to Isla de los Pájaros, home to colonies of royal and imperial cormorants . Take pictures of these beautiful birds, as well as ducks, gulls and chicks, and after getting to know their natural environment, continue on to Bridges Island to walk along a trail.

You'll pass another small island before you reach your final destination, where, depending on the time of year, you may see two-hair fur seals. And very close to it, you will come across the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, built in 1919 and a true symbol of the city.

After this crossing, you will disembark at the picturesque Bridges Island, home of the native Yamana people, and take a short trekking route to the highest point of the island. Over the next two hours you will hike the entire island, explore its unique flora and birdlife trails and see everything from endemic plants to native birds .

Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the Beagle Channel from the top of the island, and after getting to know its flora, birds and Yámanas aborigines, you will get back on the boat to return to Ushuaia.
