Step by Step

A guided tour of Florence is the perfect way to get a panoramic view of the city and its main points of interest. You will have the opportunity to take a complete walking tour of approximately 1 hour and a half through the most emblematic monuments of Florence.

An expert local guide will accompany you during the walk and will provide you with relevant information at each of the stops along the itinerary. This will be the ideal opportunity to learn more about the history of some of the iconic monuments you've heard so much about:

  • The Palazzo Medici, which today is the seat of the Metropolitan City of Florence and a museum.
  • The Basilica of San Lorenzo, one of the largest in the city and the burial place of all the major members of the Medici family from Cosimo il Vecchio to Cosimo III
  • The Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, the Duomo
  • The Palazzo Pitti, a grand Renaissance palace located on the south side of the Arno river.

In addition, there will be time to stroll through the city's characteristic squares and cross the famous Ponte Vecchio. Highlights include the Piazza della Repubblica, which was originally the site of the city's forum, or the Piazza della Signoria, the main point of the origin and history of the Republic of Florence.

For added comfort and a more exclusive experience, the tour includes bottled water during the tour. In addition, if you need it, you will have a place to store your luggage safely while you are on the tour.

Our guide was very good. A very nice tour and not tiring at all. Listening to her tell the history of Florence while we walked through the center and the alleys was really interesting.
