Step by Step
This river cruise on the Zambezi is perfect for couples and people looking for a relaxing experience. During the cruise you can enjoy snacks and drinks while sitting comfortably in your seat. The boat departs in the afternoon and the itinerary takes approximately 2 hours. To get to the departure point, simply request a hotel pick-up (with return, included in this tour).
The boat travels along the upper reaches of the Zambezi River, allowing you to see the Victoria Falls, characterised by the great jet of water that plummets more than a hundred metres. The impact causes a majestic curtain of water that generates a thunderous noise and a cloud of mist and steam that rises into the air. During the rainy season, the flow increases considerably, making the falls even more spectacular.
During the cruise you can see a variety of flora and fauna, including hippos, crocodiles, kudu and flocks of birds flying over the water. At sunset, the panorama is particularly impressive.
The route passes through the Zambezi National Park and Victoria Falls National Park, which together cover an area of 56,000 hectares. Sunglasses, mosquito repellent and, in winter, a jacket to protect you from the cold are recommended.
