Step by Step

On this bike tour around Florence you will have the opportunity to enjoy the sights of some of its most emblematic places, as well as being accompanied by a guide who will teach you about its history. In groups of no more than 12 people, and for about two and a half hours, you will get to know jewels of Tuscan architecture, such as the Ponte Vecchio, the historic Piazza della Repubblica or the iconic cathedral of Santa Maria dell'Orcia. The cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, symbol of the city, episcopal see of the archdiocese of Florence and one of the masterpieces of Gothic art and the Italian Renaissance.

You will also stop at the Piazza di San Lorenzo, where you can admire its beautiful basilica, built by Brunelleschi under the orders of the Medici family. You will walk along Via Tornabuoni, one of the most luxurious streets in the historic centre of Florence, and cross the Ponte de la Santa Trinita, the oldest elliptical arch bridge in the world.

In the Oltrarno neighbourhood, you can stop for an ice cream or a coffee, and see the beautiful Piazza del Santo Spirito, with the basilica of the same name where Michelangelo took refuge and studied anatomy as a young man.

You will have the opportunity to pass in front of Palazzo Pitti, the residence of an old Florentine banker, and finish the tour in Piazza della Signoria, under the views of Palazzo Vecchio.
